Product Description:

The Kollmorgen S7720C-EIF2-F2 digital servo amplifier is installed in a control cabinet with at least an IP 54 protection class. This servo amplifier portrays functional safety by means of the STO function. The product encompasses an electronic internal brake resistor. This device uses cage clamps for its X3A, B; X4; and X9A connectors. The unit uses a gRL or a gL type external EU fuse with an 80 A current rating for the AC supply. Its electronics may get destroyed because of condensation. This amplifier has a capacitance of less than 150 pF/m and a cross-section of 25 mm2 for its shielded motor cable in a single-axis system.

The product offers no functional safety with its holding brake control. This device portrays the parameter and function numbers on the LED display when the keys on its front panel are used. The unit can be coupled with many other amplifiers of the same series through the DC bus link by using the built-in brake circuit. It brakes the motor in a controlled manner when the STOPMODE and ACTFAULT parameters are set to 1. This amplifier can be switched off using the STO safety function so that there is functional safety at the drive shaft.

The product executes the emergency off function to turn off the electrical power supply of the machine in which it is installed. This device portrays a 3K3 operating class. The unit portrays a relative humidity of up to 85% during the operation phase. It shuts down on its own when the temperature inside the control cabinet is very high. This servo amplifier has a maximum thermal resistance of 0.055 K/W for its coldplate at 400 VAC.
