Dual-channel STO terminals provide a hardware path for emergency torque removal without opening the main contactor during programmed shutdowns or fault responses. This allows torque-producing energy to be removed while the rest of the shutdown sequence remains controlled. Quiescent dissipation is 24 W when the drive is idle. The unit has a mass of 13 kg.
