The Kollmorgen S7720A-PBF2-S4 is a digital servo amplifier with extended functionality. The product is perfect for performing complex drive tasks in industrial setups. It should be noted that only copper conductors must be used for wiring the unit. The user can derive the cross-sections of the conductor from the standard IEC 60204 specifications. Transport of the product must be done by trained and qualified personnel in the original recyclable packaging supplied by Kollmorgen. The transport temperature must be maintained at -25°C to +70°C.

If the S700 digital servo amplifier is stored for more than one year, its capacitors should be re-formed before the setup and operation processes. To do this, the user must remove all the electrical connections and apply a single-phase 230V AC for 30 minutes at the L1 and L2 terminals. The package of the unit does not contain the mating Sub-D connectors. The product has an enclosure protection of IP 20 according to IEC 60529 specifications. The bandwidth of the current controller of the product is greater than 1.2 (bis 5) kHz.

The residual voltage drop of the S700 digital servo amplifier is 6 V at rated current. The device can be mounted in a vertical position.
