Product Description:

The S7720A-NAF2-F2 digital servo amplifier by Kollmorgen is associated with several parameters that determine its behavior. This servo amplifier has two controlled fans to support its operation. This product must be transported, installed, and set up by properly qualified personnel. The device must never have a transient voltage of more than 2000 V between its conductors and housing for a period of less than 50 µs. This unit should be transported and stored in the manufacturer's original packaging. It should be kept away from highly insulating materials. This amplifier must be cleaned only on the outside by the user.

This product has a coldplate with a maximum flatness of 100 mm. The device is associated with a prefabricated cable for feedback. The unit has a three-character LED display that highlights its operating status. It features an auxiliary voltage supply of 24 VDC. This amplifier is connected to the motor brake through a Mini-Combicon connector. The product implements the stop, emergency stop, and emergency off functions according to IEC 60204 specifications with its STO features.

The device executes the STO function from external safety switch gears or a safe external control. This unit must be installed in a control cabinet with at least an IP 54 protection class. Its enable inputs are switched separately by two outputs of a safety control. This servo amplifier must have a direct 24 VDC connection if the STO function is not needed. The product must be tested for its STO functionality when a component is changed. This device uses a RCD with a current rating of 50 mA to 300 mA for protection against indirect contact in stationary mode.
