Product Description:

The Kollmorgen S7720A-DNF2-S3 is a digital servo amplifier that should always be placed on a conductive surface. The device must be stored only in the original recyclable packaging of the manufacturer. The unit incorporates the DeviceNet expansion module in the first slot. The transmission speed of this card can be set in three different ways. The second slot contains the fan controller, and the third slot contains the safety card S1-2, SIL 3 expansion card. If the product is stored for more than one year, its capacitors should be re-formed before operating the amplifier. This can be done by removing all the electrical connections and applying one-phase 230V AC for 30 minutes to the L1 and L2 terminals.

It should be noted that the S700 digital servo amplifier should not be immersed in or sprayed with any liquid for cleaning. The dirt inside the device should be cleaned only by the manufacturer. The user can clean the protective grill on the fan using a dry brush. Only 60°C or 75°C copper wires must be used for wiring this product. The device does not have motor over-temperature sensing. There is a nameplate attached to the side of the unit for identification. The servo amplifier is equipped with a digital current controller and an adjustable digital speed controller. The device has a 3M1 vibration class according to IEC 60721-3-3 specifications.

The S700 digital servo amplifier tends to shut down in the event of an excessively high temperature inside the control cabinet. Sufficient forced ventilation must be ensured within the control cabinet. The device has a built-in safety function called STO that can be used to turn off the drive, thereby ensuring functional safety at the drive shaft.
