This drive converts incoming AC line power into precisely regulated motor current, allowing CNC machines, packaging lines, and robotics to execute coordinated motion sequences. By acting as the axis amplifier between the higher-level controller and the motor, it provides the response and safety functions required in industrial automation.

The power section accepts line voltages from 208 to 480 V on a three-phase supply and can deliver up to 72 A RMS of continuous motor current, giving suitable headroom for mid-range rotary and linear axes. The upstream supply must support an input demand of 50 kVA, while the internal conduction path limits residual voltage drop to 6 V to help reduce heat. Two analog command channels and four digital inputs permit direct speed, torque, and enable signaling.
