It delivers regulated motor currents that allow axis controllers to achieve precise speed, torque, and position loops in automated assembly and material-handling cells. The unit is intended for cabinet-mounted motion systems where stable current control, predictable dynamic response, and coordinated axis behavior are required across varying load conditions, repetitive duty cycles, and frequent starts and stops.

It accepts a three-phase AC supply within the rated window of 208–480 V and draws control energy from a dedicated 24 VDC auxiliary input so fieldbus electronics remain live during machine lockout. The insulated-gate output bridge switches at 8 kHz, producing low-ripple sinusoidal currents that reach a continuous 72 Arms. For acceleration or impact loads, the drive can deliver 140 Arms for up to 5 s before returning to its nominal value. Dual-channel STO hardware removes drive pulses on demand without requiring separate external contactors in the main power path. The standard circuit boards tolerate typical oil mist and vibration, and a factory-installed fan-controller expansion card regulates blower speed in response to internal temperature.

Mechanically, the chassis is 386 mm tall, 190 mm wide, and 244 mm deep without front connectors, yet it can process up to 50 kVA of input power at full load. The drive carries an IP20 ingress rating, so live parts must be installed in a control cabinet and wiring access is tool protected. With a shipping mass of 13 kg, the unit remains suitable for cabinet mounting while staying within the shock and vibration limits of the series. Clearance allowances help maintain unobstructed front-to-back airflow, and the rectangular footprint aligns neatly on DIN rails or backplates beside line filters, contactors, and other power-distribution components in densely packed cabinets.
