As a closed-loop power amplifier, it converts the plant AC supply into controlled three-phase output that commands the torque, speed, or position of a connected servomotor. The unit targets general-purpose automation, letting machine builders integrate fast axis control directly in the cabinet while relieving the PLC of high-bandwidth regulation tasks. Its control platform supports standardized fieldbus mapping and built-in safety so motion modules can fit modern machine requirements.

The power section accepts a three-phase mains window of 208 to 480 V, allowing the same hardware to serve both low- and high-voltage installations. During continuous duty it provides up to 72 Arms, a limit that affects conductor sizing and cabinet cooling. Short bursts can rise to 140 Arms for as long as 5 s, giving margin for rapid indexing or inertia compensation without oversizing the motor. Current is modulated at an output stage frequency of 8 kHz; this switching rate minimizes torque ripple while keeping semiconductor losses within acceptable limits.
