Product Description:

The S77202-NANA-NA is a servo drive from Kollmorgen and is supplied within the S700 Servo Drives series. As an AC power stage it interfaces between a plant’s 208–480 V mains and a synchronous or asynchronous motor, providing closed-loop speed and torque regulation for automated axes. Integrated fieldbus ports allow EtherCAT or CANopen communication without additional cards, letting the drive fit directly into distributed motion architectures that require deterministic updates and simple wiring.

In operation the analog command channel presents an input resistance of 150 kOhm, minimizing loading on external signal sources. The internal brake chopper can absorb up to 8 kW continuously, and excess energy can also be routed to a 10 Ω external resistor. Under dynamic peaks the inverter delivers 140 Arms for 5 s, while its steady-state rating is 72 Arms. With a DC link switching pattern of 8 kHz, the stage maintains low current ripple across the full mains span of 208–480 V. A residual voltage drop of 6 V appears across the output devices, and the drive draws up to 50 kVA from the supply when fully loaded. Heat dissipation with the power section disabled is 24 W.

The housing measures 386 mm high, 190 mm wide, and 244 mm deep and weighs 13 kg. Convection plus forced air remove up to 1005 W at 400 V, and the specified noise emission does not exceed 68 dB(A). Standard PCBs are used, and there is no provision for an auxiliary expansion card because the required buses are already onboard. Safety integration is simplified by the presence of a dual-channel STO function that can be wired directly to emergency-off circuits. For regenerative braking support the 10 Ω resistor terminal is located beside the power input, completing the thermal and protective profile without repeating earlier parameters.
