The S77202-NAF2-F2 is a servo drive produced by Kollmorgen within the S700 Servo Drives series. It interfaces between a machine controller and a synchronous servo motor, modulating power flow to regulate torque, speed, and position in industrial automation cells such as packaging lines and robotics. By accepting a three-phase supply and delivering regulated current, the unit supports high-bandwidth motion control while integrating safety through a dual-channel safe torque-off function. This arrangement allows the drive to serve as both the power stage and a central motion-control element within a cabinet-based automation system.
During normal operation, the drive delivers a rated current of 72 Arms and can elevate output to 140 Arms for 5 s when acceleration is demanded. These currents are supplied from a three-phase 208 to 480 V input, and the converter input section is sized for 50 kVA, so upstream power components must be selected accordingly.
