This unit commands torque, velocity, and position of synchronous or induction motors in automated machinery, linking the plant-level controller to the motor windings while supervising safety and feedback interfaces. Designed as a field-mounted power stage, it converts three-phase mains energy into regulated motor current, making it a central component in precise motion sequences found on packaging lines, pick-and-place stations, and similar equipment.

The drive accepts a supply of 208–480 V AC and delivers a continuous output of 72 Arms, enabling it to energize mid-range and high-torque servomotors without derating. Power processing capability reaches 50 kVA, which is the maximum apparent power the internal IGBT bridge can handle under rated thermal conditions. The inverter switches at 8 kHz, balancing ripple reduction with switching losses for smooth motor torque.
