The S77202-DNF2-S4 servo drive is manufactured by Kollmorgen as part of the S700 Servo Drives series. It is designed for cabinet-mounted automation systems. The drive modulates three-phase mains energy into precisely controlled currents that command industrial servo motors, enabling coordinated torque, speed, and position loops across conveyors, packaging axes, and material-handling equipment. This makes it suitable for motion tasks that require accurate motor response during changing load conditions.

At the power stage, the unit supplies a continuous output current of 72 Arms and permits peaks of 140 Arms for short acceleration bursts. It accepts line voltages from 208 to 480 V. The maximum apparent input is 50 kVA, which sets upstream fuse and cable sizing. The internal IGBT bridge switches at 8 kHz, keeping motor current ripple low while controlling switching loss. An auxiliary 2 A electronics supply powers the control logic. A separate brake output delivers up to 3 A to release or engage holding brakes.
