Within an automation cell, it acts as the power conversion and safety node, translating low-level control signals into the precisely timed phase currents required for dynamic positioning and speed regulation.
This model accepts a line input between 208 to 480 V, allowing installation on common industrial mains without an autotransformer. At a continuous load, it can deliver 72 Arms; this RMS value indicates the heat that the internal IGBTs and bus capacitors must dissipate during steady operation. For acceleration bursts, it supplies up to 140 Arms, giving additional torque headroom for rapid index moves before thermal limits intervene.
