Designed for cabinet installation, the unit converts three-phase mains into controlled motor currents so that automation controllers can command accurate speed and torque profiles. The drive forms the electrical link between line supplies and servo motors on packaging, printing, and material-handling lines. By regulating motor current in real time, it supports repeatable motion during frequent starts, stops, and speed changes while also providing dynamic braking energy handling and integrated safety functions.

The drive accepts a mains input range of 208 to 480 V, so the internal rectifier and DC bus can operate across common industrial power systems without retapping transformers. It delivers 48 Arms continuously, while temporary overloads up to 96 Arms allow rapid acceleration when the axis demands higher short-term torque. An output stage that switches at 8 kHz helps reduce motor noise and current ripple during operation. At full load, the converter draws 35 kVA from the supply, and the residual voltage drop across the power stage is 6 V. An expansion card operates a fan controller that starts cooling when the internal temperature reaches 65 °C.
