The S7480F-2CF2-NA is a servo drive developed by Kollmorgen within the S700 Servo Drives series. It converts three-phase mains into precisely regulated current loops, allowing synchronous or induction motors on automated assembly lines, packaging stations, and material-handling gantries to track commanded speed and torque profiles with high accuracy. Integrated fieldbus, safety, and energy-handling functions make the unit suitable for multi-axis motion systems that require coordinated, repeatable cycles. By combining these functions in one unit, the drive can support compact machine layouts and stable axis interaction during synchronized motion.

The power section accepts a mains supply from 208 to 480 V AC and is rated for 35 kVA of input. An output stage that switches at 8 kHz produces a near-sinusoidal current with a form factor of 1.01. Under continuous duty, the drive delivers 48 Arms, and short acceleration peaks can reach 96 Arms. Acoustic output reaches no more than 62 dB(A), which helps limit noise in nearby work areas. The delivered variant uses coated printed-circuit boards for improved moisture resistance.
