The S7480A-PBF2-S4 model of the servo amplifier comes with advanced features to be used in conjunction with asynchronous and synchronous motors, linear motors and DC motors. Kollmorgen produces these motors and amplifiers with a broad power spectrum and at a cost-effective price.

The S700 servo amplifier by <>> comes in a compact size offering IP20 degree of protection. The device is designed to be operated with rated input of 30 kVA power. When connected to a 3-phase power supply providing in range of 208…480V with mains frequency of 50/60 Hz. The tolerance for supply voltage is +10 percent. The permitted ON/OFF switch frequency is 30 1/h. The rated DC bus link voltage for this module ranges from 290 to 675 V. When connected to a 3-phase power supply, the rated output current is 48 Arms for voltages in the range of 208-480V. It provides a peak output current of 96 Arms for approximately 5 seconds (+/- 3%). The switching frequency for output stage is 8/16 Hz. During peak operation, the maximum noise emission could be 62 dB (A). The total weight of the amplifier with coldplate is 10.4 kg.

The servo amplifier by Kollmorgen comes with electronic brake resistor and 4A internal fusing for 24V motor brake and 24V electronics. The external fusing is to be done by the user. The recommended tightening torque for X0 connection is 2.5 Nm when using 25mm2 wire. If using 35mm2 wire, the tightening torque should be 4.5 Nm. The surrounding air temperature during operation can range between 0 and +40 degree Celsius offering loss-free data output. The maximum relative humidity during operation can be 85%, with no condensation. The servo module is rated for pollution level 2 environment as per IEC 60664-1.
