The S7480A-PBF2-PM is a digital servo amplifier produced by Kollmorgen. This amplifier improves industrial automation process by ensuring the accurate control of the speed, position and torque output of industrial servo motor. The digital amplifier is designed exclusively for synchronous, asynchronous, and DC motors, it features a modular design and does not require any maintenance operation. The amplifier is also an environmentally friendly device, under ideal operating conditions it does not have any negative effect on the environment. This amplifier is suitable for operation outside industrial areas, however special measures must be taken to reduce the electrical interference generated by the amplifier during operation. The S7480A-PBF2-PM servo amplifier belongs to the overvoltage category III according to EN 81800-5-1, it can be supplied from 3-phase grounded industrial supply networks such as the TN-system and the TT-system with grounded neutral point.
