S7480A-NANA-S3 is a digital servo amplifier. It is designed and produced by Kollmorgen. Features of S700 amplifiers include safe torque off support, onboard EtherCAT and CANopen bus communication, single cable feedback, optimized resolver interface, cogging suppression, auto tuning and fast feedback evaluation. Benefits of S700 amplifiers include high speed current, speed and position control, onboard EMI filters and brake resistor, multi-feedback and multi-interface support for compatibility with standard motors and controllers, and memory card for backup. The rated input power for continuous operation is 35 kVA. The rated DC link voltage range is 290 to 675 Volts DC. The auxiliary supply voltage is 24 Volts DC. The AC input range is 208 to 480 Volts AC. Three-phase input is necessary for operation with connected load. Single-phase input is allowed during setup.
The rated output of 48 Amps is available across the entire input from 208 to 480 Volts AC. The peak output is 96 Amps rms. Weight of the amplifier is 10.4 kilograms and its dimensions are 384 x 190 x 243 millimeters. Kollmorgen has designed the unit for installation inside a switchgear cabinet. Proper spacing and forced ventilation must be provided inside the cabinet. The operating ambient temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
