The S7480A-NAF2-PM is a new-generation servo amplifier produced by highly trained engineers of the reputable Kollmorgen company. This amplifier is designed to improve the operation of industrial machines by ensuring the accurate control of the speed, position, and torque output of industrial servo motor. The amplifier is tested and certified to meet international quality standards before it is delivered. The amplifier is also designed exclusively for brushless synchronous, asynchronous, and DC servo motors. The S7480A-NAF2-PM servo amplifier is an environmentally friendly device, under ideal operating conditions, it does not have any negative effect on the environment. The housing of this servo amplifier is designed to provide it with protection according to the IP20 protection class, to ensure optimum protection, the amplifier must be installed in a closed control cabinet before operation. The rated input voltage required by the S7480A-NAF2-PM servo amplifier for operation is about 208 to about 480 volts, the amplifier also requires a rated input power of about 35 kilovolts ampere. During operation, this servo amplifier generates a rated output current of 48 amperes, it can also generate an output current as high as 96 amperes. The minimum inductance of motors connected to this amplifier is between 0.38 to 0.88. The total weight of the amplifier is 13 kilograms. The S7480A-NAF2-PM servo amplifier is integrated with two separate expansion cards; a Pos I/O and the Fan controller expansion card. The PosI/O expansion card provides an extra SubD connector with high speed, and bidirectional digital input/outputs. Also, the Fan controller expansion card helps to reduce the noise emission of the servo amplifier, it does this by reducing the speed of the built-in fan depending on the temperature of the amplifier.
