The S7480A-DNF2-PM is a new-generation digital servo amplifier produced by Kollmorgen to improve industrial operation by ensuring the accurate control of servo motor. The amplifier is intended to be used with synchronous, asynchronous and DC servo motor, it ensures the accurate control of the speed, position, and torque output of servo motors. The amplifier is delivered in a cardboard package containing a nameplate for easy identification, as a standard, the amplifier is delivered with a printed safety guide, mating connectors, online documentation, and a DRIVEGUI.EXE set-up software on a CD-ROM. The amplifier can be used outside industrial areas, however this will require the installation of additional mains filter measures. The S7480A-DNF2-PM servo amplifier is a maintenance free device, it can maintain optimum operation for a long time without the risk of sudden machine breakdown. The S7480A-DNF2-PM servo amplifier is delivered with three different expansion cards; the DEVICENET, Fan Controller, and the PosI/O expansion card. The three expansion cards are integrated into the amplifier before it is delivered. The rated supply voltage required by this servo amplifier falls within the range of 208 to about 480 volts, the amplifier also requires a rated input power of about 35 kilovolts ampere. Also, the rated DC bus link voltage of this servo amplifier is between 290 to 675 amperes. The S7480A-DNF2-PM servo amplifier generates a rated output current of 48 amperes, the maximum output current is 96 amperes.
