The S7480A-DNF2-F2 is a digital servo amplifier produced by Kollmorgen according to American and International quality standards. This servo amplifier is designed to be used with synchronous, asynchronous, and DC servo motor designs, it ensures the accurate control of the speed, position, and torque output these industrial motors. The S7480A-DNF2-F2 amplifier features a modular design and a housing unit that provides protection according to the IP20 protection class. As a standard, this servo amplifier is delivered with a printed safety guide, shielding plate, shield clamps, and mating connectors. The amplifier is also delivered with a DRIVEGUI.EXE setup software. The software is to be used to set the parameters of the amplifier, and adjust its operation to meet specific industrial requirements. The S7480A-DNF2-F2 industrial servo amplifier features two types of expansion cards which include a DEVICENET expansion card, and two Fan controller expansion cards. The Fan controller expansion card helps to reduce the noise emission of the servo amplifier by reducing the speed of the built-in fan depending on the temperature of the amplifier. The rated supply voltage required by the amplifier is 208 to about 480 volts, also during operation, the amplifier generates a rated output current of about 48 amperes.
