The S74802-PBF2-S4 is a servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen within the S700 Servo Drives series. It functions as the power stage between a motion controller and a synchronous motor, converting commanded set points into phase-accurate output currents for high-precision industrial axes. By supplying regulated AC power, the unit supports coordinated motion in packaging, material-handling, and general automation cells where accurate torque and velocity control are required.
The drive is rated for a continuous output of 48 Arms and can deliver up to 96 Arms during short acceleration peaks. Its mains input accepts three-phase supplies from 208 to 480 V, allowing use with a wide range of industrial power systems, while the internal IGBT bridge switches at 8 kHz to shape sinusoidal motor currents.
