Kollmorgen manufactures the S74802-PBF2-NA as part of its S700 Servo Drives series. The module is an AC servo drive designed to convert incoming three-phase supply power into controlled motor voltage and current, allowing precise velocity and position regulation in packaging lines, gantries, and general factory automation. It is intended for coordinated motion tasks that require stable speed control and accurate axis response during automated operation.

The drive accepts a mains range of 208 to 480 V AC, so one model can cover many North American and European supply systems. Under nominal conditions, it can deliver 48 A rms of continuous output, and the thermal design supports an input demand of 35 kVA, making it suitable for medium-power axes. An analog command channel with a ±10 V limit is provided for legacy motion controllers, while pulse-width modulation at 8 kHz helps reduce current ripple and audible whine.
