S74802-NANA-PM is a digital servo amplifier. It is manufactured by Kollmorgen. The amplifier belongs to the S700 product line. The shipment containing the amplifier also contains shielding plate and shield clamps, a product safety guide, a CD-ROM with setup software and online documentation, and some mating connectors. A nameplate attached to the side of the unit lists relevant information including the servo amplifier type, serial number, output current rating, enclosure rating, software version and other relevant information. According to the part number scheme, the S74802-NANA-PM is rated for 208 to 480 Volts AC input. Its rated output current is 48 Amps rms. The unit has three expansion slots for options modules. The first two slots are empty. A position I/O card is installed in the third expansion slot. This expansion card provides an extra SubD connector with high-speed, bidirectional, digital, 5 Volts inputs and outputs. The setup software can be used to preset various input and output functions such as Position encoder emulation (ROD- or SSI-compatible) Input for high-speed 5 Volts RS-485 signals. The S74802-NANA-PM servo amplifier supports two-channel Safe Torque Off (STO) function. This function blocks the trigger pulses of the power transistors.
