S74802-EIF2-S3 is a high-performance servo amplifier. It is produced by Kollmorgen for closed loop control of industrial servo motors. The amplifier is compatible with different types of motors, including DC motors, synchronous motors, induction motors and linear motors. It supports multiple motor feedback methods such as encoder, aquadB encoder, resolver and ComCoder. Closed loop control allows precise control of motor speed and position. With its host of integrated and optional features, the S74802-EIF2-S3 is an ideal choice for industrial automation solutions. S700 series amplifiers from Kollmorgen feature three expansion slots. Expansion cards can be added to these amplifiers to improve and add functionality. The S74802-EIF2-S3 amplifier features an I/O expansion card, a fan control card and a safety card with SIL-2/SIL-3 support. S700 series amplifiers support a wide input range from 208 to 480 Volts AC. They support direct connection to the AC mains. Proper grounding is essential for preventing electrical shocks. Rated output of the S74802-EIF2-S3 amplifier is 48 Amps. This rated output is available across the entire input voltage range as long as operating conditions are within limits prescribed by Kollmorgen.
