S74802-EIF2-PM is a high-performance digital servo amplifier. It is designed by Kollmorgen for control of speed and position of industrial motors. The amplifier is compatible with several linear, DC, synchronous and induction motors. It supports multiple types of motor feedback, allowing use with a wide range of motor feedback systems. Closed loop control ensures accurate motor speed and position control, which is a requirement for many industrial applications. The amplifier has a wide input voltage range from 208 to 480 Volts AC. It requires three-phase AC input. The input power required for continuous output is 35 kVA. The rated current output is 48 Amps across the entire input voltage range. The amplifier can sustain a maximum current output of 96 Amps for a 5 second duration. Kollmorgen has designed S700 series amplifiers with three expansion slots. All three expansion slots on the S74802-EIF2-PM amplifier are occupied. Slot 1 on the unit is equipped with a I/O expansion card. Slot 2 on the unit is equipped with a fan control card.
