The S74802-EIF2-F2 servo drive is built by Kollmorgen and belongs to the S700 Servo Drives series. It supplies closed-loop current and voltage control for industrial servo motors, allowing coordinated positioning and speed regulation in automated machinery cells, presses, and material-handling axes. The unit also combines motion control support with integrated communication and safety functions in a single drive platform.

This model operates on a three-phase input range of 208–480 V and delivers a continuous output of 48 Arms. For acceleration peaks, it can source up to 96 Arms for 5 seconds, while the pulse-width-modulated output stage switches at 8 kHz to reduce motor ripple. The power section draws 35 kVA under rated load and includes Dual-channel STO, which removes drive energy without external relays. Its embedded Ei interface accepts telegrams within a 4 ms addressing time, offers 14 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, and produces new output data every 10 ms so motion commands and status bits remain synchronized with the controller. Standard circuit boards are installed, an internal slot carries a fan-controller expansion card for blower regulation when needed, and a 15 Ω external brake resistor can be connected to absorb regenerated energy.
