The S74802-DNF2-S4 servo drive is produced by Kollmorgen within the S700 Servo Drives series. As a single-axis amplifier, it interfaces between a three-phase supply and a brushless servo motor, providing regulated current and integrated safety functions for motion tasks in industrial automation cells and machine tools. It is intended for closed-loop positioning and speed control of one motor axis. The unit is suited to applications that require repeatable acceleration, deceleration, and position holding during automated cycle changes. Its integrated power and safety electronics let the drive handle motor control in a compact package.

This model accepts a three-phase AC source in the 208 to 480 V range at 50/60 Hz, and its power section switches at 8 kHz for fine current modulation with reduced ripple. Under continuous load, the drive supplies 48 Arms, while transient demands can be supported for up to 5 s without derating. Safety is provided by the built-in dual-channel STO function, which is supervised by the S2-2 safety card in slot 3.
