The Kollmorgen S74802-2CF2-S4 is a digital servo amplifier with extended functionality that is ideal for complex drive tasks. The product comes with three slots for expansion cards. The first slot is meant for mounting the 2CAN module, the second slot is for the fan controller, and the third slot is for safety cards S2-2 and SIL CL2. If the servo amplifier is used in residential areas, business and commercial areas, or small industrial operations, additional filter measures should be implemented by the user. The unit must be operated only in a closed control cabinet, taking into account the ambient conditions defined in the product documentation. Ventilation or cooling may be necessary to keep the temperature within the cabinet below 40°C. Only copper conductors should be used for wiring the S700 servo amplifier. The conductor cross-sections can be derived from the standard IEC 60204. The user is not allowed to modify the servo amplifier without permission from the manufacturer.
