As a three-phase AC controller, it regulates torque, velocity, and position for matched servo motors in automated machinery. By converting input power into pulse-width-modulated output, the unit supplies the current loops and safety functions required for motion axes in packaging, material handling, and general factory automation. It is intended for servo applications that require stable response during indexing, speed control, and repeated positioning moves.

Designed for medium to large motion loads, the drive works from 208...480V mains. It supplies a continuous phase current of 24 Arms, which indicates the steady motor load the unit can support during operation. Up to 18 kVA passes through an IGBT bridge that chops the DC bus at 8 kHz, a carrier rate that helps limit current ripple. A separate brake output rated at 2 A powers holding brakes during controlled stops. With connectors installed, the unit measures 382 mm high and 285 mm deep. The installed PosI/O card adds application I/O, and the Extended Ipeak option allows brief overcurrent during acceleration. Dual channel STO removes drive energy without external contactors and supports SIL-compliant safety circuits. High-speed feedback and latch functions are handled by the PosI/O interface, which accepts encoder cables up to 100 m, carries 5 V signals, supports 32-bit SSI frames, and processes position data at up to 1.5 MHz.
