The S72402-PBNANA-NA also offers a variety of onboard features including CANopen, EtherCAT, RS232 and 24V pulse direction interface, Resolver-, Encoder-, AquadB Encoder-, ComCoder-evaluation, and Position controller. It also features a Safe Stop STO (single channel) onboard (SIL CL 2, PLd, CAT 3) and 3 frontside slots for expansion cards. Synchronous servomotors, linear motors, asynchronous motors and DC motors can be used with this amplifier. The amplifier is housed in two dimensions: S701…S712 70 mm, S724 100 mm. It is designed to operate directly on grounded 3-phase supply, 208V-10% … 480V+10%, 50/60 Hz. The output stage IGBT module comes with floating current measurement. The amplifier also features a brake circuit with dynamic distribution of the regenerated power between several amplifiers on the same DC bus link circuit. The DC bus link voltage ranges from 260 to 900 V DC and can be connected in parallel. The amplifier is equipped with interference suppression filters for the electrical supply feed and the 24V auxiliary supply voltage. It also features an integrated safety system with appropriate insulation/creepage distances and electrical isolation to ensure safe electrical separation, as per IEC 61800-5-1, between the power input / motor connections and the signal electronics. The amplifier also features soft-start, overvoltage detection, short-circuit protection, phase-failure monitoring, and temperature monitoring of the servo amplifier and motor.
