Kollmorgen’s S71202-NAF2PM is a digital servo drive that operates with synchronous, asynchronous and DC motors. It comes with an IP20 rating while functions within temperatures up to 40°C at a maximum altitude of 3300 ft above sea level. The drive accepts a 3-phase AC input distributed across 208V to 480V voltage values.

The S71202-NAF2PM servo drive generates a standard output current of 12 Arms but extends to 24 Arms for 5 seconds and 30 Arms for 2 seconds while delivers power output of 9 kVA. It has a software version 5.18 and hardware revision 02.10 while features an integrated controlled fan located at slot 2 under F2 cooling mode to handle thermal needs. The S71202 drive embeds safe torque off (STO) as a safety feature which holds SIL CL3 and PL e certification. It provides RS232 alongside EtherCAT and CANopen connectivity interface through RJ45 Ethernet ports which are built into the unit through a unified entry. The Pos I/O expansion card located in slot 3 lets users emulate encoders while receiving position feedback while the digital input/output functionality of the controller is available through X4A and X4B connectors.
