The S71201-NA-024 is a servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen for the S700 Servo Drives series. EtherCAT and CANopen interfaces are included with the drive, so an expansion card is not required for networked control within distributed systems.

The drive delivers a continuous phase current of 12 A rms, allowing it to supply medium-frame servomotors within its thermal limits. Line-side demand reaches 9 kVA at full load, which must be considered when sizing fuses and cabling. An integrated brake chopper routes excess bus energy to a resistor that can absorb 100 W continuously. The resistor has a cold resistance of 33 Ω, and both values must be considered when planning deceleration for high-inertia loads. The housing measures 345 mm high, 70 mm wide, and 243 mm deep, allowing the required cabinet space to be calculated accurately. Standard printed circuit boards are conformally coated for use in typical factory environments.
