The S70602-PBNANA from Kollmorgen is classified among the S700 line of servo-drives for automation. The device can be supplied with 208-480 triphase AC voltage at a frequency of 50/60 Hz.

The servodrive may be commanded by an external PLC using the EtherCAT or CANopen protocol communication integrated interface or using the Profibus one placed on the first extension card slot of the device. The S70602-PBNANA is able to provide the connected motor an RMS current of 6000 mA and can maintain a limit current of 18000 milliampere for a maximum time of 5 seconds. The setup of the S70602-PBNANA drive can be deployed to the servodrive via the DRIVEGUI setup software attaching a common Personal Computer to the system via its built-in RS-232 socket (X8).

The servo drive offers a single-channel certified safety STO (Safe Torque Off) function that allows the subsystems (servo amplifiers) to reach the following certifications: Performance Level CAT 3, according to ISO 13849-1 and SIL CL 2 (IEC 62061). The module has a set of integrated Input/Output connectors, such as two analog inputs, two programmable digital I/Os (both directions) and four programmable digital inputs, that can be used in order to fit the user's needs. The S70602-PBNANA permits the usage many motor feedback technologies such as incremental encoders, sine encoders with BiSS, resolvers and sine 5V encoders through its built-in port.
