The S70362-PBNANA is a Kollmorgen drive in the S700 Servo Drives series. It conditions incoming mains power and delivers regulated phase current to servomotors, allowing closed-loop speed and torque control in production machinery and automated handling stations. By integrating with external feedback devices, the drive converts motion commands into precise electrical output that synchronizes individual axes within an industrial cell.

This model operates from a three-phase supply range of 110–230 V and draws a rated input of 2 kVA. Its power section supports a continuous motor phase current of 3 A RMS, while the internal DC link can reach 455 VDC during regenerative events. A built-in 33 Ω brake resistor dissipates surplus energy and has an absorption capability of 50 W to protect the bus capacitors. The minimum permissible motor inductance is 4 mH at 230 V, and the output stages maintain a voltage rise rate of 3.3 kV/µs. Pulse-width modulation is generated at 8 kHz, balancing current ripple with semiconductor switching losses. The drive uses standard printed circuit boards and has a noise emission ceiling of 43 dB(A).

The enclosure provides IP20 protection, and the drive has a transport weight of 4.4 kg. Machine safety is supported by a dual-channel STO function that removes drive energy without mechanical relays. The first fieldbus slot contains a PROFIBUS DP interface with two 9-pin Sub-D connectors and transfer rates up to 12 Mbaud. Telegram exchange follows Profidrive profile 3.2 with PPO type 2. EtherCAT and CANopen interfaces are integrated into the base board, so neither interface requires an expansion card. These communication options allow the drive to exchange commands, status data, and diagnostic information with compatible industrial control systems.
