The S70362-NANANA servo drive is produced by Kollmorgen within the S700 Servo Drives series. It is intended for cabinet installation, where it interfaces with a host controller to provide closed-loop current and velocity control for brushless servo motors. EtherCAT and CANopen are integrated as onboard fieldbuses, so no separate expansion cards are needed for common networked motion systems. This arrangement supports deterministic communication for coordinated axes in automated assembly stations, indexing equipment, and compact transfer systems.

The drive supplies a continuous output current of 3 Arms while drawing up to 2 kVA from mains supplies rated from 110 to 230 V. The stated supply range gives the unit flexibility in mixed-voltage control cabinets. At full load, it dissipates only 45 W of heat, so standard enclosure ventilation is usually sufficient for normal panel layouts. The integrated braking circuit is rated at 50 W, and the internal resistor of 33 Ohm supports rapid deceleration during peak current events lasting up to 2 seconds without external braking hardware. Height is limited to 345 mm, which helps the unit fit shallow electrical enclosures.

The housing has a width of 70 mm, a depth of 243 mm, and a mass of 4.4 kg, which helps when fitting the drive into existing racks and reduces load on mounting rails. The narrow housing also makes side-by-side mounting easier when panel space is limited. This version uses standard PCBs and does not require plug-in option boards, keeping the internal configuration straightforward. Motion safety is handled through dual-channel STO with a certified level of SIL 3 / PLe, meeting category 4 stop requirements in multi-axis cells. The drive can complete 30 on-off cycles per hour, and its sound level of 43 dB(A) supports installation in operator-attended areas.
