Product Description:
The S70302-PBNAS2 digital servo amplifier from Kollmorgen has a very hot surface when it is being operated. This servo amplifier must have a series wiring connection of the BTB/RTO contact in the emergency stop circuit of the system. The product must be handled only as intended by the manufacturer and only after reading the associated documentation. This device can cause danger of serious personnel injury or electrical shock if it is not grounded properly. The unit is connected to an external 24 VDC auxiliary power supply at the X4 connector. Its power output forms an oscillating circuit along with the motor winding and supply cable. This amplifier does not ensure functional safety with the brake function. The product has an RS 232 PC interface that is connected to the serial interface of a PC using a null-modem cable. This device mounting should not be done horizontally or diagonally. The unit has a rated line voltage of 3 x 208 to 480 V with a tolerance of +/-10%. It is possible to connect up to 255 servo amplifiers to a PC using a special cable. This amplifier has a PROFIBUS expansion card in its first slot. The product can be used with linear motors and DC motors. This device comprises an IGBT module at the output stage with floating current measurement. The unit must be provided with an external fusing for the power section by the user. The servo amplifier is equipped with phase failure monitoring functionality. It has one Enable input and two STO Enable inputs. This product must have sufficient forced ventilation for normal operation within its control cabinet. The device supports a conductor cross-section of 10 AWG for its DC bus link and brake resistor connections. This unit controls a motor holding brake with 24 V voltage rating and maximum 2 A current rating directly. It has an internal analog grounding for the analog inputs.
