Product Description:
Kollmorgen’s S600 Servo Drives Series introduces their best module SERVOSTAR-606. Rated output current of 6 Arms (±3%) guarantees precise and stable motor control. Over 5 s, it has the maximum over ±3% peak output current of 12 Arms and is robust for transient load surges. Dynamic response is improved with the acceleration of switching by operating its output stage at 8 kHz, to 16 kHz with VDCmax = 400 volts. The range of overvoltage protection threshold is from 450 V to 900 V with the protection of internal components from harmful voltage spikes.
It is rated to supply 3 x 230V (-10%/+10%) up to 480V, which is compatible with common industrial power sources. The drive accepts 3 x 208V (-10%/+10%) up to 480V and can operate reliably in various regions at 60 Hz. A stable start up performance is guaranteed by its rated installed load for S1 operation of 4 kVA. Power distribution is possible from 290 V to 675 V on the DC bus link. The 45mH of maximum load inductance allows for motor use with higher inductive characteristics. The output current form factor is 1.01, confirming accurate current delivery. The subordinate current controller bandwidth exceeds 1.2 kHz which allows rapid current regulation.
The residual voltage drop at rated current is 5 V, which lets SERVOSTAR-606 device minimize energy losses during operation. Quiescent dissipation when the output stage is disabled is 15 W, reducing power waste in idle mode. Dissipation at rated current is approximately 60 W, which maintains thermal stability under load. The auxiliary power supply provides 24 V (-0%/+15%) at up to 1 A without brake and 3 A with brake, delivering stable low-voltage support for control circuits. Moreover, the product achieves around 93% efficiency under standard load conditions, which minimizes power wastage. Its integrated diagnostic LED indicators provides real-time error codes, enabling rapid troubleshooting.
