Product Description:

The new module SERVOSTAR-601 from Kollmorgen includes a threshold between 450 V and 900 V for the overvoltage protection. This specification protects the drive from voltage spikes that could damage the internal components. For VDCmax = 400V, output stage clock frequency is 16 kHz. This feature would increase the drive’s switching speed and control precision. The value of the maximum load inductance is 150 mH while the minimum load inductance is set to be 25 mH. Its low value also makes it compatible with lighter, fast reacting motor loads.

The current controller as the subordinate is 1.2 kHz bandwidth with at least, so current regulation is fast. The load rating for S1 operation is 1kVA, ensuring steady performance with the start-up. For the DC bus link voltage, you have a range from 290 V to 675 V for a support for power distribution in uneven systems. The rated output current is 1.5 A rms, ±3%. The surge capability is good enough to meet transient load demands, and the peak output current is 3 A for about 5 seconds (±3%). Its residual voltage drop at rated current is 5 V. The quiescent dissipation is 15 W when the output stage is disabled of SERVOSTAR-601 drive.

Dissipation at rated current is approximately 30 W and supports sustained operation under load. The auxiliary power supply is 24 V (–0%/+15%) delivering up to 1 A without brake and 3 A with brake. The device’s rated supply voltage at 50 Hz is 3 x 230V (–10% to +10%) up to 480V. This compatibility supports standard 50 Hz industrial networks. The rated supply voltage at 60 Hz is 3 x 208V (–10% to +10%) up to 480V. This option ensures reliable operation on 60 Hz systems. Additionally, SERVOSTAR-601 achieves approximately 95% efficiency under typical operating conditions. This high efficiency minimizes power waste and lowers operational costs.
