Internal Product Review
The SE06000-000000 is a Kollmorgen S600 servo drive with a 6 A rms current rating and support for 230 to 480 V. Sinusoidal output and an 8 kHz PWM frequency give the drive smooth motor control and refined response in demanding motion applications. A 62.5 µs current loop update makes this servo drive an excellent choice for precise, high-speed regulation.

Product Description:
The SE06000-000000 is an AC servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen as part of the S600 Servo Drives series. The unit converts three-phase mains power into controlled current and voltage for brushless servomotors, enabling precise position, speed, and torque regulation in automated packaging lines, robotic cells, and material-handling stations. Because commutation and loop regulation are executed inside the drive, a motion controller can issue simple velocity or torque commands while the S600 manages the underlying power stage. This arrangement allows the drive to respond to changing motion commands while maintaining closed-loop control of the connected motor.
Its continuous phase capability is 6 A rms, delivered through a sinusoidal output with a form factor of ≤1.01 to minimize motor heating. The current loop refreshes every 62.5 µs and maintains a bandwidth below 2,000 Hz, while the velocity processor updates every 250 µs with a bandwidth below 400 Hz. Commutation sensing is resolved up to 400 Hz, and the internal PWM operates at 8 kHz to reduce acoustic noise. The drive supplies 1.1 A on the +8 V logic rail and provides 60 mA on its digital outputs. It limits the remote-enable circuit to 20 mA and uses a dry contact rated for 1 A at 24 VDC to report fault conditions to external safety chains.
Thermal management accounts for power dissipation of 84 W, which determines the enclosure ventilation requirements. Overvoltage protection disconnects the bus at 430 VDC to guard against regenerative surges. The power input accepts three-phase supplies from 230 to 480 V, allowing the same model to operate with both 230 V and 400 V plant power standards. Its broad input range supports installations with different three-phase supply levels without changing the drive model. The unit has a total mass of 3.3 kg, allowing the chassis to be fastened directly to DIN rails or panel plates without additional bracing.
