Product Description:
The S61001-SE is a digital servoamplifier from Kollmorgen. It belongs to the S600 series of products from the manufacturer. This product is not meant to be integrated into a safety function. It contains electrostatically sensitive components that tend to get damaged if not handled properly. The device features an overvoltage category III based on EN 61800-5-1 specifications. Only copper wires must be used for connection in the unit. The amplifier must be used for operating only brushless synchronous servomotors from the manufacturer. The voltage rating of the motor must be not less than the DC bus link voltage of the servoamplifier. This product is available with a one-year warranty period.
The warning signs of the servoamplifier must be replaced immediately if they are found to be damaged. This device should always be placed on a conductive surface. It must not be subject to shocks during transport. It has a size of 125 x 415 x 350mm (H x W x D). If the product is to be stored and operated after a minimum period of one year, its capacitors must first be reformed. The amplifier does not require any maintenance. The casing must be cleaned using a cleaning solution like isopropanol. No liquid should be allowed to get into the device and it must be operated only after a minimum of half an hour after it is cleaned.
The S61001-SE servoamplifier must be disassembled only by a qualified electrician. After an operation, it must be allowed to cool down to a temperature below 40°C before touching it. The unit comes with six mating connectors and does not include mating D-Sub connectors. It is fitted with a nameplate that provides details of the type of servoamplifier, serial number, enclosure rating, maximum ambient temperature and hardware revision.
