The S60600-PB digital servo amplifier is an advanced motion control platform that comes with an integrated pulse direction interface. The device is used for speed, position, and torque regulation in asynchronous and synchronous motors. The system has an installed load capacity of 2 kV for operating in S1 operation mode. A CANopen interface has been provided for the device to integrate with bus systems. Among the amplifier's different safety features is the overvoltage protection that prevents one-point failure that occurs through the supply of excess voltage. The overvoltage protection system is activated within a range of 450 V to 900 V. The S60600-PB’s auxiliary power supply comes with an interference suppression filter that ensures an undistorted supply of power to the amplifier. A forced-convection has been provided for constant air circulation and excess heat removal.
The S60600-PB gives the best performance in a temperature range of 5 ᵒC to 45 ᵒC. Beyond this range, there is 2.5% power de-rating (per degree rise in temperature). This model is unique because of its multiple integrated safety features that include phase-failure detection, soft start, and short circuit protection. The device’s enclosure has been designed in accordance with the IP 20 degree ingress protection. At rated current, there is a 60 W power dissipation.
