The S60300-PB digital drive is used for servo control in highly dynamic environments. The system is frequently employed with synchronous and asynchronous motors. The system’s overvoltage protection threshold is between 450 V to 900 V and its installed load for S1 operation is 2 kV. The S60300-PB comes with an interference suppression filter for the power supply and it can operate in a 0 ᵒC to 45 ᵒC temperature range. In a 45 ᵒC to 55 ᵒC temperature range, the system’s performance parameters show 2.5 % derating per Kelvin rise in temperature. The digital amplifier comes with integrated safety features like soft start, overvoltage recognition, and phase-failure monitoring. Appropriate separation and electrical insulation has been provided between sensitive electrical components. The amplifier comes under the pollution level two in accordance with EN standards and has a 40 W power dissipation when it is operated at rated current.

The S60300-PB has been provided with an integrated pulse-direction interface. This model comes with an RS232 interface and comes with CANopen for integrated with bus systems. The S60300-PB can operate a range of different input voltages between 240 V to 480 V.  With an IP 20 standard protection, the system can operate in adverse ambient conditions. The digital amplifier can be mounted in a vertical position. For effective ventilation and removal of heat from the control cabinet, the system comes with an inbuilt fan that uses forced convection for the purpose.
