The S60300-PB is a servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen within the S600 Servo Drives series. It converts three-phase mains into controlled output for precise regulation of torque, speed, and position in automated machinery. The unit is intended for single-axis applications that need compact cabinet installation and integrated brake energy handling. An onboard PROFIBUS interface allows standardized fieldbus communication with higher-level control systems. This suits positioning axes in packaging, indexing, and handling equipment where stable closed-loop motion is required.
The electrical section permits continuous phase currents up to 3 A rms and is intended for motors with load inductance from 12 mH to 75 mH. A supported line range of 230–480 V lets the same unit operate on low-voltage or medium-voltage plant supplies without tap changes. The converter is rated for 2 kVA of installed load, and its output current form factor of 1.01 helps keep waveform distortion low so motor heating remains predictable. Under rated conditions, the power stage releases 40 W of heat, while a quiescent value of 15 W applies when the axis is enabled but idle.
