Product Description

The S60300 digital servo amplifier comes from Kollmorgen. The X6 connector of the amplifier is assigned for the CAN interface and RS232 interface signals. The station address for the device can be set in three ways by setting the rotary switches in three different positions. The front panel of the product comprises an additional connector X10. The unit has a 24VDC safety relay that is externally controlled. The amplifier features a current rating of 3Arms. It displays the standard menu as default. The detailed menu can be accessed by pressing the right key when the 24V supply is switched on.

The station address for the servo amplifier must be preset during setup using the keypad present on the front panel. Up to six devices can be connected. It can also be connected to a PC with the help of a special multilink cable. The S60300 unit supports manual resetting in the case of an error during operation. The DC bus link capacitors must be reformed if the unit is stored for over a year without use. The reforming should be done only after all the electrical connections are deformed. The unit has a maximum load inductance of 75mH and a minimum load inductance of 12mH. It comes with an incremental encoder interface.

The servo amplifier is equipped with two programmable differential inputs for analog setpoints. The product can be operated as a slave that is controlled by a sine-cosine encoder using the X1 connector.
