The S60101 Kollmorgen digital servo amplifier is an environment-friendly motor. This amplifier’s installation is done in a machine that does not cause injury to personnel because of unforeseen movement. The product-associated setup and basic tests are meant to be done by skilled personnel with training in electrical engineering and drive technology. This device portrays a surface temperature of more than 80 °C when it is being used and soon after its use. The unit should always be kept on a conductive surface. Its leakage current is more than 3.5 mA.
This amplifier poses no assurance of personnel protection without a low-resistance earthing connection. The product’s control cabinet must be kept closed at the time of operation. This device can never be modified without the manufacturer’s permission. The unit portrays overvoltage category III as per EN 61800-5-1 specifications. It can be directly connected to a symmetrically earthed industrial mains supply network with three phases. This amplifier has no safety functionality.
