The S60100-NA digital servo amplifier is one of the many amplifiers of its kind from Kollmorgen. The manufacturer is known worldwide for its wide range of electrical products. The amplifier can be operated directly using two keys present init and can be programmed fully using an RS232 interface. This product must be installed only by qualified personnel with mechanical and electrotechnical expertise.  It should always be placed on a conductive surface. The temperature of the amplifier’s surface can increase beyond 80°C during operation. The capacitors of the amplifier have dangerous voltages for about five minutes after the power supply is switched off. For these reasons, it should be handled with care. The housing of the amplifier features warning signs for the safety of the user. The warning signs on the side of the servo amplifier must be replaced as soon as they are damaged.

The servo amplifier must not be touched when it is in use. The covers and cabinet doors must always be kept closed during this period. The device must be earthed safely to the protective earth busbar present in the switch cabinet. The protective earth has a leakage current of over 3.5A. The enclosure has a protection category of IP 20. The product must be operated only inside a closed switchgear cabinet. The ambient temperature for the enclosure must not exceed 45°C. The S60100-NA is available with a one-year warranty period.

The servo amplifier must be transported only using the original recyclable packaging. The digital inputs and outputs have voltage ratings according to IEC 6113 specifications. The subordinate current controller has a bandwidth of greater than 1.2kHz. The unit has a rated output current of 1.5Arms +/-3%. It has a voltage rating of 230 to 480V.
