This arrangement lets the amplifier execute commanded motion profiles with predictable motor response during changes in load. The drive’s control electronics are sustained by a 24 VDC auxiliary supply that keeps internal logic active during line-power interruptions and enables orderly fieldbus shutdown routines. Protection on the DC link trips at 750 V, preventing semiconductor overstress when regenerated energy raises bus voltage. Fast torque response is supported by a current regulator update interval of 62.5 µs, while the output transistors are pulse-width modulated at 8 kHz to limit motor acoustic noise and reduce switching losses. Under continuous operation, the inverter can deliver 3 Arms to the motor windings, matching the output stage to compatible servomotor inductance values.
