The S403BA-SE digital servo amplifier is one of the several S400 series of such amplifiers from Kollmorgen. This product is marketed under the SERVOSTAR brand name. The unit must be installed and setup only by personnel who are aware of national accident prevention regulations and IEC 60664 or IEC 60364 directives. There are chances of the amplifier getting damaged if the current voltage rating or permissible voltage values are exceeded. The device features a 3Arms current rating. The servo amplifier comes with a warranty period of one year from Wake Industrial.
The surface of the servo amplifier may turn very hot during operation and can cause minor burns if touched during this time. The surface temperature may even increase beyond 80°C during operation.
