Product Description
The Kollmorgen S30361-NA drive is designed to provide a voltage rating of 110 to 230 V and a 3 A current rating without any expansion. The CANopen protocol installed in the drive enables communication of the drive with other devices within the system with the help of actual data feedback. Category 600 V (EN 61800-5-1) means that the drive is protected against voltage fluctuations typical of distribution grids, such as those caused by voltage switching or lightning. These drives are built to work under conditions where there may be electrical noise, which can pose a threat to some parts of the drives. Moreover, Category drives are useful for applications located near a distribution panel, making the entire system safer and more robust.
The shielding of the connection directly on this servo drive is advantageous for industrial applications. First, it minimizes electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI), which affects the signal integrity and the functioning of the servo systems. This direct link provides a noise-free path for the signal transmission between the servo drive and the amplifier, thus improving the signal's quality and facilitating better control of the motor. Having two analog inputs in a system allows users to connect different devices or sensors. It helps make processes more flexible and manage them with higher accuracy, which makes it useful in many industries. Also, the CANopen fieldbus support, which comes with the default transmission rate of 500 kBaud provides the network interface by which the drive can communicate with other devices. CANopen is one of the most reliable protocols in automation systems since it provides a dependable data transfer, self-diagnostic functions, and high-speed data transfer that increases the efficiency and stability of the systems.
