Kollmorgen servo amplifiers in the S300 series are designed to provide safety components in an electrical plant or machine. The Kollmorgen SERVOSTAR 300 family of servo amplifiers are compact enabling them to save space in the switchgear cabinet. Despite their compact size, S300 digital amplifiers provide a single, high-performance solution. To take their place on the factory floor, Kollmorgen S300 digital amplifiers feature a wide range of connectivity options that are precisely conditioned to handle linear positioners and rotary servo motors. With CE, cUL, and UL approvals, Kollmorgen S300 servo amplifiers are suited for use in a global scale.

The S30361-NA is a digital servo amplifier manufactured by Kollmorgen. It has a continuous current rating of 3 Amperes RMS and an operating voltage of between 110 Volts AC and 230 Volts AC. The amplifier does not feature an installed expansion card, allowing for Sercos, EtherCAT and other expansion modules to be plugged in. A Serco expansion card is ideal for use with applications requiring fast and exact synchronization. To enhance safety on the factory floor, the S30361-NA has safe torque off (STO) function that prevents it from unintentionally restarting. To make it ideal for use in an industrial environment, the safe torque off feature can be activated from a safe external control. Note that the STO is advantageous because it requires little wiring, there is no contact wear because only low voltages are switched off, and the DC bus link remains charged.

The Kollmorgen S30361-NA belongs to the Kollmorgen S300 series of digital servo amplifiers. Amplifiers in this series are specially designed to be used with single axis servo applications.
